Out of My Mind....
My fervent hope for my next long-term (married?) relationship, is to have a true PARTNER. I don't know if this is attainable in the real world, but in my fantasies I dream of a man who would actually not leave me to fend for myself when it comes to issues that concern both of us. In fact, in a relationship, I think any problem one partner has should automatically be of concern to the other. It's not that I can't handle whatever life throws at me/us, but wouldn't it be grand to have someone willing to collaborate, discuss, and find solutions to the everyday, or not so everyday, BS that befalls all of us.

Fortunately, my current boyfriend is like a broken-in pair of Birkenstocks; comfortable, high-quality, and can be worn all day without rubbing the wrong way.

Birkenstocks? He sounds utilitarian. Not the kind of guy you'd wear when enjoying a night on the town in a trendy martini bar ...

Well, he also could be likened to a pair of nice Italian loafers..classy, and put together very well.
He's never expressed any interest in viewing porn with me, so I just assumed he wasn't into sharing.
